Cocklegriff mohawk Stew hunt.
A halfling warband is cooking up some powerful Cocklegriff mohawk stew. There is a minor problem, they don't have any mohawk. So the warriors are going on a hunt, but so is the cocklegriff. The smell from the cooks pot has been caught by the wind, and made the monster hungry.
Setup:
The game is set up on a small table 32'' x 22''. The terrain in an agreeable manner, we recommend some small woods, a few small hills and various obstacles. The forces have deployed 20'' apart. Place a marker to represent the stew (the cook model will work just fine) on the halfling side of the table, 4'' in from the deployment line. Roll to deploy and start as normal. After 5 turns, roll to see if the game ends as normal.
Forces:
Monsters: 1 cocklegriff, 4 grifflings.
Halfling: 2 captains, 2 archers and 2 spear militias.
Objective:
Both forces get 1 victory point for every model removed as casualty.
The halfling player get 5 victory points for removing 4 BW from the cocklegriff (last BW have to be done in close combat) and then returning to the cook. To transfer the mohawk piece to another model, either as a pick up where a halfling have fallen or to pass it on, you have to make a simple success roll. With a -1 penalty for every enemy ZoC you are within.
The monster player get 1 victory point for each bite they take of the cooks stew. To take a bite the model must have the stew in its ZoC and make an «eat» action, costing 1 AP* (only once per turn). This is a simple success roll, with -1 modifier for every enemy inside ZoC.
