“Ancient creatures from a forgotten age, Tarrasques are truly gargantuan beasts that are rarely seen in ArcWorlde. Many slumber for hundreds of years, appearing as hills or rocky outcrops as nature grows over them. The innate magical aura of a Tarrasque has led mages over the centuries to unknowingly build their towers upon their backs, with no idea at all that the power that emanates from their lair is from a living creature whom they dwell upon.

On rare occasions a Tarrasque awakens from their slumber and wanders the wildernesses of ArcWorlde. Such an event is rare indeed, and many mages clamour to claim the Tarrasque’s power for themselves."
